He would circle around the back of the boat and surface his head to display his well practice, "I'm cute and starving" impression. The deck hands would then toss a good portion of the poundage that We had just purchased and he would chomp it down in seconds only to begin his circling again and this went on and on until we left with what was left of our 202#'s of tuna or approximately 100#'s of filleted tuna. We are still canning at 10:30 pm Saturday night and planning on finishing up tomorrow night. Chase and Rebecca, Paige, Stephen and Pear are all coming over to can a few pounds as well. I hope this is as good as I remember it as I am getting a little flak from Denise for the 100#'s of canning that we are doing.(She was wanting to can 20 pounds). I mean come on that would be gone in 2 months. Well if it tastes good anyway.

Canning Tuna
Denise and I ordered tuna from the Goodsen's fishing business in Westport. We arrived at their boat "The Hustler" Saturday morning to pick up our pantry filler for the next year.
